Sports Classes

Basketball Skills
Take it to the hoop, every day, all week. Whether you enjoy 3-on-3, 1-on-1, or simply shooting buckets in the driveway or at the neighborhood park, our experienced coaches have the pointers and guidance to make you a better basketball player. The goal of this class is to allow participants to work on passing skills, shooting accuracy and defensive tactics. The best way to do this is to tip off and play nothing but basketball.

Recreational Sports
A smorgasbord of sports fun. Enjoy physical activity and encourage your competitive spirit in a variety of games and sports. The Northwest School believes your physical well being is just as important as your mental self. Your competitive spirit will benefit, too. Improve your skills, learn team building and cooperation, and make many new friends.

Soccer Savvy
We’ve all kicked the soccer ball around. But once you master the ability to get around defenders, include your team-mates and kick it toward the goal, you can be an ace at soccer (also known as football in other countries). Practice the essential skills, including foot and ball positions, dribbling, passing and receiving, ball control, shooting and heading. You’ll not only improve your technique, you’ll get good exercise and have a great time doing it.

Table Games
Take your competitive attitude from athletic fields to the game room tables, where foosball and ping pong reign supreme. Based on the game of soccer (football), foosball is a thrilling game to play regardless of your skill level. Ping-pong (also called “table tennis”) requires skill, quickness and coordination. Both games are simple and provide endless fun. Play one, play both, but play all week.
